Boskalis F3000 crane vessel decommissioning

February 1, 2017

In this animated video, Boskalis shows the company will convert one of its semisubmersible heavy lift vessels into a self-propelled crane vessel, including a 3000-tonne revolving crane this year.

It will be able to execute transportation as well as installation or decommissioning services. The animation shows the vessel performing decommissioning services. Due to its DP-2 capabilities there is no loss time for anchor spread deployment. The vessel can accommodate 150 persons and will have a helicopter deck available for offshore transfers. Expected delivery 2018.
