Bridon focus on Hangzhou

February 2, 2009

Wire and rope manufacturer Bridon has agreed to sell its majority interest in Bridon Tianjin, manufacturer of elevator rope, to Golik Holdings, a Hong Kong-based company.

The sale allows Bridon to concentrate on developing other opportunities in China, with a focus on the recently acquired operation in Hangzhou, where Bridon Hangzhou has a manufacturing base to serve growing demand across Asia in their core markets in the oil and gas, mining, and construction sectors.
