Gazprom Nefthas brought its Otedelnoye field located in the northern part of the Surgut District of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomour Okrug-Yugra into commercial operation.

Two production wells are currently in operation at the field, with total production running at 170 tonnes per day.

Gazprom said analysis of all available geological information, analysis of seismic profiling, and the construction of an up-to-date geological model made possible the prediction of the oil-bearing capacity of this license block.

The viability of which was subsequently confirmed by a natural inflow of dry crude oil of up to 20 cubic meters per day, obtained through exploratory wells. More than 20 wells are to be drilled at the Otdelnoye field in 2017–2018, including 13 horizontal wells.

Its subsidiary Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz secured subsoil usage rights to this block following an auction by the Department for Subsoil Use of the Urals Federal District in 2014. Initial recoverable reserves and reserves in place are estimated at 4.8 million tonnes and 21 million tonnes of oil, respectively.
